Christoffer Galbo

Christoffer has extensive experience with corporate and financing transactions as well as with regulatory matters relating to financial institutions and investment funds. In addition, he has advised a number of young companies in relation to basic structural legal issues, including capital structure, ownership structure, incentive schemes and financing. Further, he has litigated a number of commercial law disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals.
Christoffer worked as an investment banker in 2001-2002 and has a good understanding of finance and accounting issues.
He has, in addition to his work, for a number of years taught legal and financial issues at the University of Copenhagen (law of obligations), at Copenhagen Business School (M&A) and in private fora. He has also written articles on corporate finance issues, including Calculation and adjustment of the purchase price in M&A transactions (Audit and Accounting, 2010, no. 3, page 18-25), Corporate bonds – an overview (Audit and Accounting, 2013, no. 5, page 32-41), Preference shares – certain corporate and financial law issues (Nordic Company Law Journal (NTS), 2021, page 59-73) and Reduction of share capital by cancellation of treasury shares (Nordic Company Law Journal (NTS), 2023, no. 2-3, page 174-186)
He was from 2015-2022 a contributor to the leading Danish legal commentary (KARNOV) as a co-author of the commentary in relation to the EU banking union.
He is a non-executive director of Founders A/S and a number of its portfolio companies. He was a member of the board of directors of the Danish alumni association for INSEAD Business School from 2008-16 and its President from 2009-16.
Christoffer graduated from law school with masters degrees from Copenhagen University and Univérsité Panthéon Assas (Paris II) in 1996 and in 2000 obtained an MBA from INSEAD. In addition to the Scandinavian languages, he speaks English, French, Spanish and German.
